For you Fathi and just to begin ("commencer"),
- Glad (adjective): synonyme = happy: (fr.): content;
- Grateful (adjective): (fr.): reconnaissant;
- Seems (verb) > (Infinitive) to seem, (fr.): sembler; (expression): it seems to be... = il semble que...
- Take over (verb) > (Infinitive) to take over, (fr.): prendre le pouvoir

("il est pronocé suivant la lettre qui le sui"),
But when we pronounce just Y, we will say like what Hela wrote [way].

So, it is the same as french.
("donc, c'est pareil au français")

* ADJECTIVES are words that give information
about nouns ("les adjectifs sont des mots qui donnent une information sur les noms") (nouns of people, places or things = noms des personnes, endroits ou choses).

Example:
They’ve just bought a new car. ("Ils viennent juste d'acheter une nouvelle voiture")

Nota Bene:
1/- Bought (past participle (p.p.) of ("participe passé du verbe") to buy(irregular verb): "acheter"

2/- Car : (noun) "voiture"
3/- Quand on trouve la phrase sour la forme:

Subject: They ("Sujet") + have/has: 've+ Past Participle: bought >> Il s'agit donc du Present Perfect. There is another indication about the use of the present perfect ("il y a une autre indication sur l'emploi du Present Perfect), it is the word Just






* ABVERBS are words that give information about
verbs (" Les adverbes sont des mots qui donnent une idée sur les verbes") ( - actions)

Example:

She looked carefully at the instructions.
Nota Bene:
1/- looked > Past of the regular verb: To look ("Regarder") > Regular verbs: Infinitive + -ed
2/- carefully ("Attentivement") > Adverb from the adjective: careful ("Attentif") > Noun: Care ("Attention")
3/-Generally (adv.) : ("généralement") , Adverb = Adjective + -ly
4/- To look at : When the verb To look is followed by the preposition At ("Quand le verbe To look est suivi par la préposition At "), it has tha same meaning as To watch ("Il a la même signification que le verbe To watch"). We say: I watch TV. ("On dit: Je regarde la télé").



* ADVERBS can also be used to add information
about an adjective, a past participle, another adverb or an adverbial phrase ("Un adverbe peut aussi être employé pour ajouter une information sur un adjectif, un participe passé, un autre adverbe ou une phrase adverbiale")


Example:
It was an incredibly interesting show.

Nota Ben:
1/- was : Simple past of the verb To be ("Le verbe Etre")
2/- an : Indefinite article ("Article indéfini") used when the word is beginning by a vowel ("utilisé quand le mot commence par une voyelle")
3/- incredibly : (adv.) > incredible (adj.) : ("incroyable")
4/- interesting : (adj.) : ("intéressant")
5/- show : (n.) : ("spectacle")

Grammer!!! is the biggest problem in English according to my opinion...So, today, I want to speak about tenses:
- Simple present : we use the simple present when we find these signal words: always, normally, everyday/ week/..., never, usually, sometimes.
-Present progressive : is used when we find these words: at the moment, now, just, just now, Look!, Listen!, right now.
-Simple past: yesterday, a day/ 2 minutes/...ago, in 2006 (for example), the other day/..., last year/day...,
-Past progressive : these are the signal words to indicate the past progressive : when, while, as long.
Step by step...The other tenses will be given next time.

Conjugaison!!! a mon avis, c'est le probleme le plus difficile en Anglais, donc, aujourd'hui je prefère de parler à propos des temps.
- Présent simple utilisé lorqu'on trouve ces termes: always,...
-Présent progressif (pas d'equivalent en français) : now, just,....
-Passé composé : yesterday, a day/...ago,...
-Passé progressif (pas d'equivalent également): indiqué par : while, when,...

Bouajila, I want to add something : As rule, in English, the adjective comes before the noun it describes and sometimes an adjective is not followed by a noun : (comme une régle en Anglais, l'adjectif vient toujours avant le nom qui le decrit et parfois un adjectif n'est pas suivi par un nom)
Example : the landscape is wonderful (le payage est merveilleux)
